In 1975, Steve Berliant started DJ PAYNE. 

In 1979, Steve opened Mass Distributors Warehouse, Inc. and introduced a groundbreaking sales concept that changed the industry. The philosophy behind his warehouse project was to help customers grow their factory lines by enabling them to buy the quantities that manufacturers needed for a direct sale. Unlike other competitive warehouses, Steve did not view his warehouse as losing business when distributors wanted to buy direct from factories. This innovative approach paved the way for a new era of warehouse sales and distribution.

In 2000, DJ Payne made a significant move by relocating to their very own 85000 square foot warehouse and office building. This was a big step for the company, which had been steadily growing in popularity and demand. The move allowed DJ Payne to expand their operations and offer even more to their customers. With this new facility, DJ Payne was able to continue their success and build upon their already strong reputation in the industry.
